Joule Performance needed a new website because, as a manufacturer of high-performance gaming systems with significant direct sales, they required a site that not only handled sales, marketing, and technical advice, but seamlessly integrated all three with a primary focus on the webshop functionality.

Additionally, Joule desired a website that reflected their new and improved brand image and showcased the brand's core characteristics: innovation, cutting-edge design, and high performance. To further this, a sense of modularity was introduced into the site's language, highlighting that Joule's systems could be modified and used for a variety of functions.

For the design solution, a website with a modular layout was created—even before the "Bento" was a thing—integrating visual identity elements that made it perfect for the gaming audience. The brand's characteristics were demonstrated through sharp edges, special elements like large, "cutting-edge" CTA buttons, and an overall modern design that evoked a sense of innovation.

During the development, the brand's graphic system was enriched and expanded to meet the website's new needs, such as new colors for special situations, UX motifs and elements, and a new typographic hierarchy.
